  every bible book pretty much was applied to the “anointed remnant “.

  if a prophet blew his nose it was a fulfillment of a future deed done by the “anointed”.. have they stopped this nonsense?

  i tiptoe around wt dogma and focus on the basics of love, life compassion, etc.

  and i deliberately do not use jw terminology whenever i can.

  It's clear WT is neo-Judaism. The recent Memorial talks and a baptism talk I recently heard could have been delivered by a Rabbi... barely a reference to you-know-who.

  Continuing congregation mergers

  in the area i live in the pacific northwest, three spanish congregations we're merged into two a couple of years ago and in the next month or so four english congregations will be cut down to three.

  both situations happened because of lack of growth.

  a few years ago, i would never have imagined spanish congregations disappearing or merging but it's happening.
